ExlService Holdings, a BPO services provider on Wednesday said it has formed a partnership with Indian Institute of Management- Lucknow (IIM-Lucknow) to deliver a one year on-campus business management program for executives at the institute’s Noida campus.
As per this agreement, IIM Lucknow will deliver modules on general management and the BPO company will design and deliver industry-focused modules on consulting, analytics and operational excellence.
“There is a huge demand for specialised domain expertise and value-added services from clients and this can be realized only if we create a managerial and leadership pipeline that will continue to ensure client success and support growth of the organization in the next three to five years,” said Pavan Bagai, President and COO, EXL.
According to the company, the programme will contain state-of-the-art industry relevant content and will be delivered through a right mix of learning tools, including instructor-led training, case studies and project work.
Working professionals with more than five years of experience would be eligible for the programme that will be offered for six days in a quarter over one year. The course will include 120 hours dedicated to general management while more than 30 hours will be devoted to consultative and analytics capabilities, the company added.
Earlier, outsourcing major accenture has partnered the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to start a diploma course in business process outsourcing (BPO).
