Explosion at Tata Steel's Jamshedpur unit claims one life

The 10 workers who had suffered from minor wounds at the time of explosion have been discharged from hospital

One of the eleven workers who was seriously injured in an explosion inside Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur unit last week, today succumed to injuries. 

 

"He was in his late 40s," said a company spokesperson. "He was earlier declared out of danger but late last night he developed some complications and could not be saved," he said. 

 

The 10 workers who had suffered from minor wounds at the time of explosion have been discharged from the Tata Main Hospital, the spokesperson informed.

 

All the eleven workers were admitted at the Tata Main Hospital.
