Former Wipro Vice-Chairman Pai Joins Murugappa

Former Wipro vice-chairman P S Pai has joined the Chennai-based Rs 4,200 crore Murugappa group as its executive chairman.

Announcing this here, N S Raghavan, the co-founder of Infosys and the current non-executive chairman of the Murugappa Corporate Board (MCB), said that the appointment of P S Pai was the fulfillment of the commitment made last year as part of an ongoing effort to professionalise the functioning of the Murugappa group.

P S Pai joins the group after a successful career spanning 23 years with Wipro Ltd where he was looking after its consumer care business.
