General Motors India today said it is expecting sales to pick up during the festival season after flat sales over the past eight months.
"We are expecting an incremental growth of five to ten per cent during the festive season," General Motors Vice- President (Corporate Affairs) P Balendran told reporters.
Speaking on the sidelines of annual convention of Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) here, he said that the company is aiming for a growth rate at par with the industry.
"The industry is expected to grow by six to eight per cent and we will also have the same growth. As of now from January to August our sales have remained flat," he added.First Published: Sep 05 2012 | 6:21 PM IST
