Geomtric Ltd invests Rs 3 cr in Pune delivery centre

Geometric Limited a product lifecycle management (PLM), engineering services, and Offshore Product Development (OPD) solutions provider company announced the opening of a new delivery centre at the  at Hinjewadi IT Park in Pune. The company plans to use this 300-seater facility to cater to new projects and  businesses and has invested Rd 3 crore for this centre. This facility will add to the already significant presence of Geometric in Pune; Geometric has its largest delivery centre in the Hinjewadi Phase II, and its joint venture company, 3DPLM Software Solutions in Hinjewadi Phase I.

The company also has delivery centres in Mumbai, Bengalore. Chennai, and Hyderabad in India, as well as in Asia, Europe and North America. “We are making a concerted effort to scale our SEZ facilities. All new eligible projects in Pune will be delivered from here. We selected this centre as it is close to our existing facilities in a STPI location.  The centre was inaugurated yesterday and we have started operations.  The centre has capacity for 300 people and we expect to reach full capacity in next 12 – 18 months.  The total expenditure was over Rs .3 crore, said Manu Parpia, MD and CEO, Geometric Ltd.
