GFL FY09 net up 3.31% at Rs 361 cr

The public sector Gujarat Fluorochemicals (GFL) posted a 3.31 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 361.47 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2009, as compared to Rs 349.88 crore in the previous year.

The company’s total income during the last financial year perked up by 32.36 per cent to Rs 1,272.75 crore from Rs 961.61 crore.

On standalone basis, net profit surged 6.15 per cent at Rs 340.15 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2009, as compared to Rs 320.45 crore in the previous year. Total standalone income of the company jumped a staggering 38.62 per cent to Rs 1,046.39 crore from Rs 764.86 crore during the period under review.
