Goodyear net profit soars 91% in Jan-Mar

The company had posted net profit of Rs 10.92 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal

Tyre maker Goodyear India today reported 90.57% jump in net profit for the quarter ended March 31 at Rs 20.81 crore.

The company had posted net profit of Rs 10.92 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, Goodyear India said in a filing to the BSE.

The net income during January-March quarter also went up by 1.50% to Rs 336.58 crore from Rs 331.60 crore in the year-ago period.

Goodyear India scrip closed 0.29% down at Rs 255.60 on the BSE.
