Hyderabad-based Granules India Limited has reported a 36.53% growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 38.96% for the quarter ended August 2016 as compared to Rs 28.72 crore in the corresponding quarter last year year.
The total income from operations grew 6.56% to Rs 343.73 crore in the quarter from Rs 322.56 crore in the year ago period. The operating margin has improved by 96 basis points to 20.8% in this quarter, the company said.
"Our top-line growth was slightly subdued but we have once again demonstrated our strength in operational excellence with improved bottom-line, said Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, chairman and managing director of Granules India.
