Grasim Bhiwani expects turnover of Rs 750 cr in 3 years

Currently the company shows a turnover of Rs 400 crore

Grasim Bhiwani Textiles Ltd, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group's Grasim Industries Ltd, is expecting its sales to go up from current Rs 400 crore to Rs 750 crore in next three years. The company is expecting its Grasim brand to double the turnover from the current Rs 150 crore, by the time, said S Krishnamoorthy, CEO - domestic textiles, Aditya Birla Group.
 
Speaking to reporters in the sidelines of launching the company's festive collection, 2013, he said, that the current turnover of Grasim Bhiwani is around Rs 400 crore and the company is expecting it to grow to Rs 750 crore in next three years.
 
Apart from manufacturing and sales of Grasim brand, the company also have Grivera brand and a business of around Rs 170 crore from supply of polyester and viscose to national and international customers.
 
The company is also into sales of women's wear stretch fabrics to US and Europe and has recently launched the same offerings to the domestic markets.
 
It currently has a capacity to process 18 million meters per year and sells around 20 million meters, adding a little outsourced products. The company is planning to expand its capacity to 25 million meters per year in next three years, added Krishnamoorthy.
 
The company currently has a reach of 10,000 multi-brand outlets and around 140 exclusive brand outlets, of which 35-40 is owned by the company, he added.
