Grasim Q2 net down 22% at Rs 486 cr

Aditya Birla Group firm Grasim today said its net profit for the July-September quarter dropped 21.6% to Rs 486 crore from the year-ago period.     

The consolidated net income was Rs 4,482 crore during the quarter ended September 30, an increase of 14.1% over Rs 3,925 crore during the second quarter of 2007-08, Grasim informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
