Greaves Construction Equipment Business, part of engineering firm Greaves Cotton Limited, is looking at expanding its share of overseas business from current three percent to 10 percent in next three to five years.

The company is looking at growth in overseas market through entering into new markets and expanding range of products with new products, said Sunil Pahilajani, managing director and chief executive officer of Greaves Cotton Limited.

The overseas sales of construction equipment is currently three percent of the business segment. This is expected to grow to 10 per cent of the construction business, he said. He was in Chennai to launch three models of the company's high capacity Concrete pumps, with S Valve technology.

The company is currently working in three regions - South East Asia, Middle East and Africa with sales and service operations and also in the process of expanding distribution through dealers.

"We are looking at expanding overseas operations to new countries," said Pahilajani.

The new Concrete pumps with S Valve technology comes with the technology from South Korean firm Samil.

Designed primarily for infrastructure concreting operations, these high performance pumps are used for heavy duty construction activities.
