Navi Mumbai-based network services company, GTL today posted a growth of 77 per cent in consolidated net profit at Rs 58.92 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as against Rs 33.25 crore posted in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Net income for the same period went up 17 per cent to Rs 490.71 crore as compared to Rs 418.84 crore recorded in the same period last year, according data provided by the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Its standalone net profit stood at Rs 43.57 crore for the same quarter, a growth of 70 per cent as against Rs 25.63 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Net income on a standalone basis rose to Rs 373.72 crore, an increase of 19 per cent over the income of Rs 313.75 crore recorded same period last year.
