HC vacates stay order on construction of UB group factory
The Patna High Court today vacated the stay on construction of a factory of UB group of Vijay Mallya at Naubatpur in Patna district.
A division bench comprising Justices PC Verma and Vikas Jain passed the order on the petition filed by Abhisek Kumar and others.
The court had ealier stayed the construction of the factory of UB Group on February 15, 2012.
The petitioners had alleged that the land was initially acquired by the state government for the purpose of setting up a sugar mill but Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) transferred the land to the UB Group for setting up liquor factory.
