L&T Construction wins Rs 864-cr order from KAHRAMAA
The order encompasses EPC of two substation packages
The power transmission and distribution business of L&T Construction has bagged order from Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" for its ongoing Qatar Electricity Transmission Network expansion plan-Phase XII.
The order encompasses the engineering, procurement & construction of two substation packages. The first package includes upgradation and strengthening of two 400kV substations and the extension of a 132kV substation while the second package is for the construction of four new 66kV substations.
This is a repeat order from KAHRAMAA after Phases VIII, X, XI, XI-A and the two cabling packages under Phase XII.
