Five companies including Hero Honda have evinced interest in investing in Karnataka. In the run up to the forthcoming lobal investors’ meet in June this year, the state industries department has been inviting companies from industry segments to the state.
Others include Moser Baer, Kajaria Cements, Kapci Coatings and Nectar Lifesciences Ltd.
According to a release, Hero Honda, country’s largest motorcycle maker, has expressed its willingness to set up a manufacturing plant and is likely to send its technical team during the first week of February. Moser Baer, maker of optical storage devices has proposed to set up 50 Mw grid connected solar photo voltaic project in Chikkaballapur district.
