During the month the company debuted in Central American markets such as Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras under the Hero brand.
Meanwhile, Pune-based Bajaj Auto reported a decline of 5% in motorcycle sales at 304,780 units in the reporting month in total sales as compared to 321,922 units sold in the same month last year.
The fall, however, came from the export market only as domestic sales reported an increase during the month. Two-wheeler domestic sales at Bajaj rose 3% to 212,129 units as compared to 206,751 units.
