Himatsingka Seide net up 22%

Apparel company Himatsingka Seide has reported 22.40 per cent rise in net profit for the second quarter (ended September 30) against Rs 13.25 crore posted in the corresponding period last year.

The company's sales for the quarter were up 24.30 per cent, y-o-y, at Rs 46.99 crore. Its revenues grew 31.70 per cent to Rs 53.86 crore from Rs 40.87 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2005-06.

PBIDT (profit before interest depreciation and tax) of the company was up 29.13 per cent to Rs 22.77 crore from Rs 17.63 crore in Q2 FY06.
