HMSI sales up 35% in September

Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India today reported 35% growth in sales at 3,28,965 units for September 2013.

The company's total sales stood at 2,43,126 units in the corresponding month last year.

Motorcycle sales registered a rise of 44% to 1,63,229 units in September 2013, from 1,13,561 units in September 2012, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) said in a statement.

The company also reported an increase of 28% in its scooter sales at 1,65,736 units from 1,29,546 units in September 2012, it said.
