The company had sold 3,67,167 units in the same month of last year, HMSI said in a statement.
In the domestic market, its sales were at 4,15,902 units last month as against 3,53,381 units in May last year, a growth of 17.69%.

Motorcycle sales during the month stood at 1,47,479 units as against 1,38,140 units in May last year, up 6.76%, it added.
The company's scooter sales in May grew by 24.7% to 2,68,423 units from 2,15,241 units in the same month last year, it said.
Exports, soared by 48.38% to 20,456 units as against 13,786 units in May last year, it said.
