HMSI sales zoom 44%
Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 44% jump in its total sales to 1,78,462 units in September.
The company's total sales stood at 1,23,831 units in the corresponding month last year, HMSI said in a statement.
Motorcycle sales grew 21% to 71,018 units last month, as against 58,508 units in September 2010, it added.
The company reported 64% jump in scooter sales to 1,07,444 units last month compared to 65,323 units in the year-ago period.
