Mumbai-based online real estate portal Housing.com is set to open a new development centre in Bengaluru and has invited applications for recruiting tech talent in the city.

The company is looking to hire designers, technologists, developers and product managers for its new Bengaluru office, to work on "some groundbreaking verticals that have been left untouched so far", the company said on a blog post on its website.

While the company did not share more details about the centre, the blog post said that Housing.com would be adding several new verticals, where the new centre would play an important role.

"There is a host of new verticals we will be adding, together with more solutions to the existing infrastructure to back up the team we have now," it said.

"For this, we needed a much bigger team; and so, after much deliberation, we decided to create a new technology space in Bengaluru... We're currently focussed on Housing's core services: Rent, Buy, PG, New Projects, Serviced Apartments, Rental Agreements and others. At the same time, features like Polygons, Call Masking, and Virtual Reality are all being developed and refined as a backbone to all these services."
