HTC Global Services to recruit 3,000

Global IT and BPO service provider HTC Global Services would recruit 3,000 people by next fiscal, a top company executive said here today.

"We have planned to recruit 3,000 in the next fiscal year to serve our increasing business," HTC Global Services President and CEO Madhava Reddy told reporters at the sidelines of a function here.

The company, which entered India in 1990 has invested over Rs 300 crore in India in the recent past.

"HTC has invested over Rs 300 crore in India to expand the current facilities in Madras Export Processing Zone (MEPZ), and acquiring new facilities in Guindy, Chennai and Begumpet, Hyderabad," he said after inaugurating the new facility in Chennai, spread across over one lakh square feet.

The facility can accommodate 1,500 employees, he said and recalled that the company has recently acquired 1.10square feet to house 1,200 employees in Hyderabad.

Besides, Chennai and Hyderabad, HTC has global delivery centres in North America, Malaysia and also has offices in other countries.
