Hyundai plans to set up design institute in Haryana

The country's second largest car maker Hyundai Motor India is planning to set up its corporate office and a design institute in Haryana.
Hyundai Motor India Managing Director H S Lheem called on Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here today and asked him to allot land to the car maker for setting up its corporate office and a design institute, an official spokesman said.
The design institute would be a kind of research and development centre, he said.
Lheem also offered to help the state in imparting training to the students of industrial training institutes so as to improve their skill.
The Chief Minister assured all support of the state government to Hyundai Motor in setting up of its corporate office and design institute.
