Iranian tea delegation on visit to Kolkata

A nine-member delegation from Iran, representing the Iran Tea Association, is on a five-day visit to Kolkata, led by chairman Hamid Reza Movassaghi.
This visit follows Indian tea delegation's recent visit to Iran in March 2013, led by Tea Board chairman M G V K Bhanu and ITA chairman A N Singh.
The Iranian Tea Association and Indian Tea Association (ITA) signed an MoU in March 2013 which envisaged increasing Indian tea exports to Iran to 30 million kilos in next couple of years.
