Jagran net up 52%

The publishers of Dainik Jagran, Jagran Prakashan (JPL) for the first quarter ended June 30,2007 have posted a net profit of Rs 34.71 crore, up 51.63 per cent from the Rs 22.89 crore posted during the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income during the quarter increased by 35 per cent to Rs 192.27 crore as against Rs 142.39 crore last year.
