JSW Energy net up 13% to Rs 841 cr
Sajjan Jindal-promoted JSW Energy posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 841.82 crore for the year 2010-11, up by 13% compared to Rs 745.49 crore last fiscal.
Total income for the year rose 82% to Rs 4,294.37 crore, compared with a total income of Rs 2,365.49 crore. The fuel cost rose to Rs 2,372.13 crore from Rs 982.88 crore yoy.
The shares of the company are trading at Rs 75 down 4.52% on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
