Jubilant Foodworks Ltd (JFL) that operates Domino's Pizza stores in India today posted 85.76% increase in standalone net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011 at Rs 19.32 crore.
During the three months period ended March 31, 2010, the company's net profit was Rs 10.40 crore.
The company's net sales during the quarter under review grew 56.08% at Rs 193.62 crore, compared to Rs 124.05 crore in the fourth quarter of 2009-10 fiscal, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
For the year ended March 31, 2011, JFL's net profit saw over two-fold increase at Rs 72.00 crore, compared to Rs 32.96 crore in the prior fiscal.
The company's standalone net sales for the year increased 59.94% at Rs 678.07 crore, as against Rs 423.93 crore during the 12 month period ended March 31, 2010.
JFL's scrip closed at Rs 693.70, down 6.12% from the previous close on the BSE.
