Jubilant Foodworks, which runs fastfood retail chain Dominos Pizza, today said it is looking to hire up to 2000 people by the end of this fiscal as it embarks on an aggressive expansion plan across the country.

"We usually add around 1800-2000 people every year...It will be same this year also," Jubilant Foodworks Chief Executive Officer Ajay Kaul told PTI.

At present, the company employs 9,700 people across 320 stores, which are wholly-owned by the firm.

On the attrition rate, he said: "We have about 6-7 per cent every month, which is quite normal for every industry."

As part of its expansion plan, Jubilant Foodworks said it will open around 60 more 'Dominos' stores taking its total number to 375 outlets across the country by this fiscal.

He said the company plans to invest around Rs 60-70 crore on opening the stores.

Kaul also said that the company is in talks with several global brands to bring them into India but declined to disclose the names citing confidentiality.

"When we changed the name of the firm, our intent was to bring more international brands in the country. I admit we are in discussion with a handful of them," Kaul had said.

It has been speculated that the company will partner with US coffee chain Star Bucks for the latter's entry into India.
