Krishna Mahesh, Joint Managing Director has been designated as Managing Director of the Company effective May 27, 2014 and will discharge his functions as the MD.
K Mahesh relinquished his position at the company for personal reasons.

Krishna Mahesh, aged 40 years, has a mechanical engineering degree from Stanford University, Stanford, CA and MBA from Harward Business School.
He was with Mckinsey for three years from 1998 to 2001 and had hands on experience in lean manufacturing techniques. He had a training from 2001 to 2003 in Toyota Production System (TPS) in Toyata Motor Manufacturing, North America, USA. He held the position of Executive Director in Sundaram Brake Linings Limited from 2005 to 2009.

TVS Motor inducted then 24-year old Sudarshan Venu, son of TVS Motor Chairman and Managing Director Venu Srinivasan, into the Company's Board, into the Board last year. He was earlier appointed as Vice President of the company with effect from December 2011.
Earlier, Lakshmi Venu, daughter of Srinivasan was also appointed as Director-Strategy and Whole Time Director of Sundaram-Clayton Ltd, the holding company of TVS Motor Company.
