Lenders invoked United Spirits pledge on April 1

Stake of United Breweries in company has accordingly come down over 2%, from 17.75% to 15.73%

The holdings of United Breweries in United Spirits came down by 26.46 lakh shares or nearly Rs.500 crore on the first day of the financial year.

Lenders had invoked pledges accounting for over 2% stake in the company on 1st April, according to a company disclosure made on Wednesday.

The stake of United Breweries in the company has accordingly come down over 2%, from 17.75% to 15.73%.
