Livpure to add air purifier line at Manesar plant

Currently it has an annual installed capacity of 500,000 water purifiers

Luminous Water Technologies, a Gurgaon-based manufacturer of water purifiers under the Livpure brand, is gearing up to add a new production line for air purifiers at its Manesar plant, according to its president Rahul Goel.

The four-year-old company, founded by the promoters of Luminous Power Technologies, which was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2011, currently has an annual installed capacity of 500,000 water purifiers at the Manesar facility.

Announcing the company's foray into the air purifiers segment with the launch of four Wi-Fi-connected mobile app-controlled products here on Tuesday, Goel said the new production line, with a capacity to churn out 30,000 air purifiers a month, would be up and running from mid-2016.
