Lycos Limited (formerly Ybrant Digital Limited), a Hyderabad-based digital media company, has reported a 27.5% increase in its net profit to Rs 105.15 crore for the second quarter ended September 2015, as against Rs 82.47 crore during the same period a year ago.
The company's revenues stood at Rs 565 crore during the quarter under review, as compared with Rs 460.19 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, reflecting a growth of 22.77%.
Lycos Media, a network of easy-to-use community and social sites, has signed up with Indeed.com to build a job search vertical at www.jobs.lycos.com, and is looking to launch the site before the end of the fourth quarter, Lycos Internet said in a release on Monday.
Lycos Internet's scrip is currently trading at Rs 31 on the BSE, up 9.54%, over the previous close of Rs 28.30 per share.
