M&M launches new model of Scorpio at Rs 7.21 lakh

Mahindra & Mahindra, the country's biggest utility vehicle maker, today launched its sports utility vehicle 'New Mighty Muscular Scorpio'.

Priced at Rs 7.21 lakh, the refreshed model is actually Rs 34,000 cheaper than the existing Scorpio. This new version features a 2.2 litre mHawk engine and also incorporates Mahindra's Micro Hybrid technology in the VLx model.

The company has also launched a BS-IV version, which is a first for the Indian market.

The top end variant costs Rs 9.99 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
