M&M workers' tool-down strike enters third day

The ongoing indefinite tool down strike by workers has caused loss to the company of Rs 25 crore and affected production, according to Uday Kumar Vaidya, General Manager of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd.  

About 4,000 workers of the company, who have been demanding  to take back suspension order of Madhav Dhatrak, president of company's internal unions' has entered third day here today. 

Suspension of Madhav Dhatrak is legal, Hiraman Aher, another senior general manager of M & M told reporters here.  

Security official impounded mobile of a worker on April 24 in company when Madhav Dhatrak was watching obscene video clips.  

Meanwhile, Madhav Ddhatrak, president of internal union told PTI that tool down strike will remain continue till suspension order and other demands are not fulfill.
