Madras Cements has posted an annual net profit of Rs 353 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010 as compared to Rs 363 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009. Total income has increased 14 per cent to Rs 2,821crore from Rs 2,471 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009.
The company has also informed the stock exchanges that the board of directors of the company have recommended final dividend of Rs 0.50 per share for the year 2009-10. Together with the interim dividend of Rs 1.50 per share paid already, the total dividend for the year 2009-10 is Rs 2.00 per share.
