Manappuram Finance Ltd today reported 20% decline in net profit at Rs 107.70 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
Its net profit in July-September period of the previous fiscal was at Rs 135.30 crore.
Revenues of the company during the reported quarter marginally declined to Rs 607.75 crore, from Rs 615.06 crore over the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a BSE filing.
The total assets of the company stood at Rs 12,461.03 crore as of September 30, 2012 against Rs 12,076.84 crore as of March 31, 2012, it said.
The Thrissur-based finance company operates in the business of gold loan.
Shares of the company today closed at Rs 38.15 apiece on the BSE, up 1.06% from the previous close.
