Marketing Guru Shunu Sen Dies At 63
Marketing guru Shunu Sen, chief executive officer of Quadra Advisory Pvt Ltd, died at a private hospital here today. He was 63.
Sen, known for his ad campaigns for Surf, Liril and Lipton, had retired as marketing director of Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) a few years back.
Since 1990 he was confined to the wheelchair following a spinal injury. Notwithstanding the debilitating injury, Sen continued with his creative pursuits at Hindustan Lever.
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has expressed grief at his death. In a statement, CII president Ashok Soota said,
