Mastek net down 8.5%
Mid-cap IT firm Mastek reported net profit of Rs 35.3 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, down 8.5 per cent from Rs 38.58 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year. Revenue for the quarter dipped 14.3 per cent at Rs 214 crore from Rs 249.8 crore for the same quarter ended June 30, 2008.
Kale Consultants net up 55%
Kale Consultants’ consolidated net profit stood at Rs 5.66 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, up 55 per cent from Rs 3.64 crore during the corresponding period.
Revenue for the quarter at Rs 36.08 crore was up 11 per cent from Rs 32.6 crore during the corresponding period last financial year.
Vishal Retail reports Rs 114.73-cr loss
Delhi-based value retailer Vishal Retail, in its consolidated result for the quarter ended March 31, 2009, has reported a loss of Rs 114.73 crore as against a profit of Rs 10.4 crore for the corresponding period last year. The company’s revenue for the quarter ended March 31 also declined by 27 per cent at Rs 244 crore as against Rs 334 crore for the corresponding period last year.
