Software solution company Mastek today reported a decline of 31.70 per cent in its net profit to Rs 17.86 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, over the same period last year.
The company's total income dipped to Rs 114.99 crore in the quarter ended September, against Rs 158.98 crore in the same period last fiscal, Mastek said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, Mastek Group reported a decline of 35.82 per cent in its net profit to Rs 26.41 crore for the quarter ended September 30, the filing added.
The Group turnover, including the company and its wholly owned subsidiary, declined to Rs 191.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, as against Rs 261.65 crore for the same quarter previous fiscal, it said.
Shares of Mastek were trading at Rs 277.90 on the BSE, down 6.19 per cent from previous close.
