Luxury car-maker, Mercedes-Benz India, today said it has clocked a 51% jump in sales during February 2011, to 662 units as against 439 units in the same month last year.

"2011 started on a wonderful note for us and with the increased sales figures we are delighted that customers appreciate our brand value and have furthermore helped us in achieving this benchmark," Mercedes-Benz India's Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Peter T Honegg said in a statement.
