Mirah Group, a major player in the food and beverages (F&B) segment in the country, has acquired 'Rajdhani Thali', a famous Indian food-chain for an undisclosed amount, a top company official said today.
With this acquisition, the group also plans to launch a complete brand makeover of 'Rajdhani' by opening over 60 outlets pan-India by March 2013, the official said.
"We have bought over the 'Rajdhani Thali' brand and now it is 100 per cent owned by the Mirah Group. We are also planning a complete brand makeover of 'Rajdhani Thali' along with expanding its reach by nearly 60 outlets across India by 2013," Mirah Group's Chairman and Managing Director Om Goenka told reporters here today without divulging any financial details of the acquisition.
The Mirah Group also outlined aggressive F&B growth plans for India at an investment of over Rs 100 crore in the next two-years, Goenka said.
