Mitsubishi eyes more investments in Guj

Mitsubishi Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd, an Indian arm of Japanese major, Mitsubishi Corporation has expressed its interest to ramp up its investments in Gujarat.

At a courtesy meeting with Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, Keiichi Nakagaki, chairman and MD of Mitsubishi Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd appraised the state functionaries about company's plans on various projects in the state. Nakagaki highlighted some of the projects including a fertilizer complex at Dahej in partnership with Zuari Group, a steel-based unit to cater to the requirements of auto industries in partnership with Metal One India Pvt Ltd and an aluminium extrusion plant in Sanand. He also stressed upon some projects like modern common effluent treatment plant and water recyling plant and also an ship recycling yard improvement project in Alang.
