Naushad Forbes has been elected as the chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for 2009-10. Forbes, director of Forbes Marshall, the country's leading steam engineering and control instrumentation company, was earlier the deputy chairman of CII Western Region in 2008-09.
Forbes has also been the chairman of CII Task Force on Higher Education in 2008-09. Meanwhile, Arun Nanda, executive director of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has been elected as the deputy chairman of CII Western Region for 2009-10.
