Oil India Q4 net up 30.6% to Rs 563 cr

Oil India, a leading Navratna Indian PSU, today posted its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March, 2011 at Rs 563 crore, increased by 30.63% from Rs 431 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The net sales for the March quarter were posted at Rs 2,019 crore, up 10.21% as compared to Rs 1,832 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

The shares of IOC today before the results announcemnet closed at Rs 1268.20 with a marginal rise of 0.01% from its previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
