Maharashtra Tourism is pushing ahead with aggressive plans that will be pulled into place by a luxury train

It will be called the Deccan Odyssey and it will be one of the most stylish holidays in western India. Starting in October, it will take its affluent passengers on a rambling, luxury-class journey around Maharashtra and the western coastal regions.
