The One India plan announced by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) may become a boon to many a retail business. It could help many of them cut the cost of delivery of their services.

Pizza Corner is hoping to make the best of the One India plan of the BSNL. It is studying the option of setting up a common call centre for delivering pizzas to its customers faster and better. "The One India plan is under study by us and depending on how the tariff structure works out, we may have a common call centre to take orders from customers anywhere," said Anoop Sequeira, CEO of Pizza Corner.

This will allow Pizza Corner to run its business across the country with just one call centre.

If Pizza Corner decides to set up such a call centre, then a customer living in, say, Banjara Hills in Hyderabad, will call up the call centre of Pizza Corner which might be in Bangalore.

The call centre executive will then pass on the message to the person concerned to deliver the pizza.

And, while delivering the pizza, if the delivery boy finds it difficult to locate the given address, then the call centre executive may help the pizza delivery boy find the address with the help of global positioning system (GPS).

While this is a futuristic idea and a little way off as far as Pizza Corner is concerned, it is something it says it is working on it and may become a reality in future.
