Online coupons startup GrabOn partners Xploree

Users can now connect to relevant coupons from GranOn's over 5,000 digital coupon inventory

GrabOn, a Hyderabad-based online coupons and deals startup, has partnered Xploree, a patent-pending search and discovery technology platform that connects consumers to the brands, services, coupons and deals across all applications.

Developed by KeyPoint Technologies, a UK-based user-interface products company with its development centre in Hyderabad, Xploree is pre-embedded in some smartphone brands.     

Its users can now connect to relevant coupons from GranOn’s over 5,000 digital coupon inventory powered by its 2,300 online merchant tie-ups.

“The partnership will fuel our growth ambitions as the fastest-growing coupon company in the country, with over four million unique users visiting our website and over 4.3 million coupons being redeemed every month. Our current gross merchandise value (GMV) is estimated at $80 million per year, and we expect this to increase manifold through our access to smartphone users in Tier-II and Tier-II markets,” said Ashok Reddy, founder and chief executive officer of GrabOn.

According to Frost & Sullivan’s study, Xploree’s ability to capture user intent and offer precise services in the consumer moment can generate revenue of $300 million in a smartphone-dominated market by acquiring 50 million engaged users.

Founded in September 2013, GrabOn currently works with a team of 35 in Hyderabad. Its premium partners include Amazon, Snapdeal, Jabong, Croma, Ola, Uber, Food Panda, Flipkart, Grofers, Paytm and Yep Me.
