Opto net up 47%

Opto Circuits has posted a 47 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 5.01 crore for the first quarter as against Rs 3.41 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Topline has gone up by 45 per cent over the previous figure of Rs 19.26 crore. The company's new sensors, after having received the US FDA approval, got their first international order worth Rs 13 crore from a US-based company during the first quarter 2005-06.
