The company will unveil separate commercials for the two new flavours — Lay’s Chile Limon and Lay’s French Salt & Cracked Pepper. “We will first start with the Lay’s Chile Limon campaign with a tagline — Chile Limon Khaya Toh Panga Dimag Mein Aya to create a sharp positioning targeting the youth,” said Gaurav Mehta, Category Director-Western Snacks, PepsiCo India.
The campaign for Lay's Chile Limon is all about enjoying the lighter moments with friends. Every bite of Lay's Chile Limon gives the taste buds a spark that lets the playful side loose and the new film also depicts it in a very exciting manner, he added.
Lay's French Salt & Cracked Pepper will have universal positioning and the commercial will be unveiled after 20 days.
Lay's Chile Limon and French Salt & Cracked Pepper are available in 12.5g, 26g & 57g packs, priced at Rs. 5, Rs. 10 & Rs. 20 respectively.
Lay's current flavour portfolio includes American Style Cream and Onion, Classic Salted, India's Magic Masala, Spanish Tomato Tango, West Indies' Hot 'n' Sweet Chilli and the recently introduced French Salt & Cracked Pepper and Lay's Chile Limon.
