Persistent set to acquire software marketing biz of Agilent Tech

Persistent Systems, an outsourced software product development services company, has signed a definitive agreement to Agilent Technologies’ software marketing and development business in France.

It said in a notice to the exchanges that the acquisition is likely to be finalised by August 1, 2011 subject to customary closing conditions.
